The Seenradweg is a circular route that starts at Seebrugg station. One of the first highlights awaits you right at the start - the dam wall of Schluchsee, the largest lake in the Black Forest. The route takes you over the dam to the southern bank path.
On the way to Altglashütten you graze the lonely Windgfälweiher. Via Bärental, the place with the highest railway station in Germany, you can reach the tranquil nature reserve of Seebachtal. Following the beautiful valley you come to the idyllic Feldsee. Passing the time-honored Raimartihof inn, you will reach the Rinken pass, which is the “highlight” of the tour at 1196 meters.
Via Hinterzarten and past the Hinterzarten bog you reach the Titisee - perfect for a boat trip or a dip in the cool water. The tour takes you along the famous lake promenade along the eastern lakeside path to the southernmost point of Lake Titisee. From here you cycle back to Schluchsee. This time it goes along the northern bank through the village Schluchsee to the starting point Seebrugg.

Nice tour at 14 degrees, but dry weather. The start was at Seebruck station at 9:30 am. That was enough to have breakfast at the Unterkrummenhof at around 10 o'clock. Then we went to the Rainmartihof for lunch. The Feldsee is worth it !! We quickly touched the Titisee and the "lake promenade" before we went back to the Bärental, over the Rinken_ Albersbach and Hinterzarten towards Schluchsee. At the end we rewarded ourselves in the Jägerklause in Grafenhausen with the coolest cakes in the area for the exertions.
Sun, interesting landscapes, lakes, and trails. What more could you want? : More water in Lake Schluchsee. I've never seen it so empty. The Titisee promenade is super touristy. Come right after Oktoberfest 🤪🫣 The drive up to the Hotel Saigerhöh at over 1,000 meters above sea level was very busy. 😫 But there was no alternative.
Today I did a tour that you can see in front of the town hall. I shortened it a bit because it would have gone around Schluchsee and Titisee. So, due to the route, I rented an e-bike and rode on the forest side to Altglashütten to get to the other side of the B500. This gave me a view from above of the federal highway and the Feldberghalle in Altglashütten. Via Neuglashütten to Bärental, a bit downhill, and then towards Feldsee. Once there, I took a short break - wonderful. Continue past the Raimartihof and over to Rinken. The road from the Rinken car park once again offered beautiful views of the Feldberg. After that, it's a bit of a downhill ride to Alpirsbach. Since I was very high up there, I had a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains, the railway bridge over the Ravenna Gorge, and a glimpse towards Freiburg. I continued downhill to Hinterzarten, where I had lunch.
Great tour - "guided" by Greni. With my two sisters and their partners. Almost a whole "family trip". It was fun - thank you Ernst for the preparation and transport! Gladly again...
