Hiking
If you want to hike in the footsteps of the Middle Ages, this route is just right for you. It leads on romantic rocky paths around Neuerburg Castle. The mighty structure forms a splendid ensemble with the parish church of St. Nicholas, the bell tower and today's rectory - former Vogthaus. The Beilsturm, once a watchtower, and the "Koblenz Path" leading over an old defensive wall bring the Middle Ages back to life. The panorama path and the pulpit offer impressive views of the Enz valley and the heart of the picturesque town.
Eligius and Kreuzkapelle, the Mariensäule on the market and the "Schwarzbildchen" - resting in a 700 year old oak tree - give an idea of the piety of the Neuerburger Völkchen. The colorful city park directly on the Enzbach invites you to relax and review the tour. The market square is the start and end point of the hike and is ideal for subsequent culinary refreshments.

But what of!
After the first 3.5 km, it was already clear that if you can still hike the rest of the way properly, then the hike was worth it!

There are some great highlights on this tour and I never found the route monotonous.
Short and sweet, highly recommended.
