This route was planned by komoot.
Park opposite the gas station at the bridge and start there. Or at hotel Sonnenberg. Then you start high and descend steeply. But you end nicer.
Once again a mega tour in this beautiful landscape. In the Müllerthal, every tour is a hit.
Long and difficult tour, but many highlights. Rocks, gorges and a castle. Super premium hiking tour.
Once through the "Green Hell" from Bollendorf towards Luxembourg to the Château de Beaufort. Then through the beautiful Haupësch and Hallerbach valleys and the Mandrack passage back to Bollendorf. This was my first truly impressive two-country tour.
www.bewegunghilft.de https://www.naturwanderpark.eu/ Great round! German-Luxembourg border hike! Nothing for the inexperienced! The countless steps make the way difficult! Nevertheless, like all premium hiking trails in the southern Eifel and Luxembourgish Switzerland, not only interesting from a geological point of view and definitely worth hiking!
FS stands for "rock path" Start this morning at 8.20 a.m. I knew it would be a strenuous tour. Start: South Eifel youth hostel Bollendorf. First of all, it was quite a steep descent (oh dear, I have to go back up again 🙈, so it's a leisurely hike 😊). In Bollendorf Pont (LU) it went straight up a beautiful "step path". When I got to the top I admired the first impressive rocks, suddenly a "trail runner" came towards me... Chapeau! And suddenly I was in the middle of this year's "Leopard Ultratrail Mullerthal"... on a relatively narrow path for a good 1 km I kept meeting runners... it wasn't entirely relaxed but it was friendly 😀. This tour also hit my hiking ❤️... always great paths, impressive rocks and beautiful views. Remarkable (and really strenuous) countless steps. Tour is absolutely recommended. Sure-footedness and good physical condition required. Sturdy shoes, hiking poles recommended. I remember this tour as the "tour of 1000 steps" 😉
