D5 in Quebec! It's Sunday and Alex is not working, so we will be doing our first outing with him. We will go to the St-Charles River Linear Park. With a length of 32 km, and divided into 13 sectors. We are in the Parc Chauveau sector (North) where we will make a round trip of +/- 9km. Oh yes... loop hikes are not common there 😇. The route therefore follows the St-Charles River, and by zooming out on the map we see that it is a strip of greenery that winds through the middle of the city. The difference in altitude only consists of a series of very luxurious wooden stairs; it must be said that in this sector the river is rather tumultuous. We will pass from one side to the other, meandering under the cover of thick, green vegetation. We will pass successively by the cliffs and the Kabir Kouba waterfalls. After a refreshing ice cream break halfway, we will retrace our steps.
