Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle and the High Castle in Füssen, garnished with the view from Calvary and the reflecting water of Schwansee and Alpsee: It can't get much better if you want to experience the Allgäu idyll in a compressed form. https://www.ich-geh-wandern.de/drei-schl%C3%B6sser-weg-im-allg%C3%A4uer-k%C3%B6nigswinkel
On the Königsschlösserrunde you hike. the. most important highlights of the region: Lechfall, Auwald, Alpsee, Hohenschwangau, Marienbrücke, Neuschwansee, Schwansee, Calvary and old town. feet. There are also wonderful panoramas. We have. took a lot of time and thoroughly enjoyed these glories.
Hiking through the fairytale land of King Ludwig II! We completed the Lechweg with a few small highlights along the way yesterday after 152 km and 4083 meters of ascent, after 7 stages. But because we still hadn't had enough, today we did the breathtaking royal castles tour and hiked through the majestic forests around Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The view of the Alpsee and Schwansee also made our hiking hearts beat faster. If you are looking for a magical place that will enchant you, this is the right place! It is best to go early, before the masses of people besiege Neuschwanstein.😃
The ski course for the kids is over and the snow for skiing isn't that great anymore, so today we took a look at the castles (from the outside). It was pleasantly little going on and really impressive, especially with such great weather. The kids managed the mammoth tour despite 5 days of skiers in their legs. 💪 The round was really nice. In the shady places but partly heavily icy and therefore quite slippery. It was still manageable even without sticks. Unfortunately, the battery ran out on the way. Therefore the track from Neuschwanstein is only reconstructed. But the route should fit. However, we were only back in Füssen at 5:00 p.m.
Hiking in Füssen in the Allgäu 🧭 Lechschleife / Alpenrosenweg 🥀 Hohenschwangau 🏰 / Neuschwanstein 🏰 ⚠️ Pöllatschlucht and Marienbrücke are closed.
If you want to avoid the stress of parking near the castles, consider this tour. You can swim in both lakes and enjoy something to eat and drink at the Alpsee. If you don't like crowds, you're on the wrong tour. There are endless people at the hotspots. The tour was fun, but that's it. Not suitable for strollers. A detour into Füssen's town center is worthwhile. Until then...
Today we pulled out the classic route and explored Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles. We started at the train station in Füssen, which we reached by direct bus. We continued over the Lech Falls, which benefited from the heavy rain last night, and along the Alpenrosensteig trail to the castles. Then we returned via Schwansee. An insider tip is the kiosk by the lake of the same name. Otherwise, the scenery is beautiful with fantastic views. Also worth mentioning is Calvary Hill above Füssen, with its fantastic panoramic views and a picture-book account of the Passion of Christ.
So I actually wanted to run the Lechschleife No. 8. But I parked a little behind the start but on the Lech (is a good parking lot and the front ones were occupied) then the Marienbrücke was at Neuschwanstein Castle (closed due to restoration) and otherwise I probably lost my way from time to time, but I know that not where the KM difference comes from. The tour was definitely good and nice, on the way back I had rain, but it wasn't too bad. And while I'm writing, does anyone know if and how you can turn pictures here? (The plan is wrong) VG and have fun Udo
