The original route is currently closed because access to the Naux bridge has been prohibited by prefectural decree. However, we offer an alternative route of equivalent length, which retains the advantages of the original circuit.
On this loop, you'll enjoy magnificent views of the meandering Semoy River and the wooded hills. You'll also pass near the ruins of Linchamps Castle, which you can reach via a fun little singletrack through the stones.
Come and discover a dynamic route without any major technical difficulties, but still challenging, with some beautiful, sometimes steep, climbs. The ascents often end with short, very vertical sections exceeding 20%, particularly after Naux, on the path that follows the wooded ridge leading to the castle. Save some energy for later!
You can access the start of this loop from the parking lot at the Hautes-Rivières stadium, which is also the official starting point for the Ardennes Mega Trail. A great way to get into the spirit of this major regional trail race.
