Zwei Seen-Runde mit Aufstieg zum Bildstein – Hochschwarzwald

The Schluchsee is the largest lake in the Black Forest and you can walk around it on a hiking trail. But this tour takes you from its shores to the towering Bildstein. From up here you have the whole lake in view, which is picturesquely situated between the wooded mountains.

The tour starts at the Aha train station, which you can easily reach by tram 728. If you plan to arrive by car, paid parking is available at the train station.

On the picture stone lead many trails and you take the steep serpentine climb. At almost one and a half kilometer route, it goes 200 meters upwards. The last section on the rocky summit leads over some concrete steps before you are rewarded with the view.

From the Bildstein it goes in a big round about forest paths and mountain meadows to the Urseetal. There, the tour takes you with great views of the valley on the shepherd path in the direction of Windgfällweiher. At the cozy Gasthaus Seehof you can take a break and enjoy the view before you hike back to the starting point.
