This tour takes you along the Alz on asphalt, gravel and forest paths in a beautifully shaded and varied landscape. Relaxed and steady, you'll find your pace along the three lakes, Weitsee, Obinger See and finally Griessee, which welcomes you with a wonderful bathing jetty.
It starts in Trostberg. On the way to the Alzufer you can easily warm up and let the shady floodplain landscape pass you by. The route then takes you via small hamlets and quiet side roads up a first crisp climb to Schnaitsee. Along the three lakes you will find opportunities to slow down, perhaps with a jump into the cool water, before gliding on towards Seeon, with its legendary café stops.
In Truchtlaching, the Alzbad is another opportunity for a well-deserved cool down, providing refreshment for the last section of the Alz via shady forest paths and quiet country roads back to Trostberg.
