Rain capital of Norway - lived up to the name today 🌧️ Up the cogwheel train to Fløyen, it was still dry there - lucky for a few photos. But halfway down, torrential showers. The expedition jackets passed the test!
Lucky; the weather forecast was gruesome, but then the ascent on the Floyen was possible without any rain and when at the top even the sun shone 🤗
Stroll through Bergen and take the cable car up to get an overview. It's easy to walk down. Finally via small hidden stairs.
Tour through Bergen. We took the train up to Fløyen. We rented a SUP on a small lake there. The Bryggen Museum is highly recommended. Went back into the city later in the evening, which is why some of the photos are not on the tour.
We were on our way to Bergen, the last stop on our round trip. According to the weather report, the next day, for the first time during our vacation, we were not to expect a bright blue sky anymore. So, we had planned the typical Bergen hike from Floyen over Vidda to Ulriken for today. But first, things turn out differently, and second, differently than you think. In the morning, we had spent almost three hours getting our rental car running again after a short break by the roadside. 🤯 So, only the hike to Floyen was left, after we had briefly strolled through the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Hanseatic quarter Bryggen. Also very beautiful.
The uphill part was done by funicular but komoot was still recording.
