https://taunus.info/angebote/sport-und-outdoor/wandern/wanderwege/salz-wanderweg/r-147/ Discovered and tried out in the new hiking booklet of the Taunus Nature Park. A great sunny day and I would like to recommend Bad Nauheim to you. Got to know it from a completely different side. Lots of highlights on this route out of the city and then walked through great country paths and districts. We liked that. The history of salt was great, I didn't know all that. I haven't been to a salt mine and breathed it in for a long time. The Schwalheim bike with the rods fascinated me. The path is great🎀😍💪a clear yes. And afterwards a delicious ice cream on the mile
It's hard for me to hike after a hike...and I overdid it 😔...sucks... but I got back in time for dinner 😄 It was an interesting hike, and I saw a few new things. The spring at the Löwenbrunnen (Lion Fountain) tasted salty.😋... and I saw storks too ☺️ https://taunus.info/angebote/sport-und-outdoor/wandern/wanderwege/salz-wanderweg/r-147/
A great walking tour with beautiful sights of Bad Nauheim and also nature. However, it's not a forest trail, but rather a field path with storks, sheep, and herons. Start: Breakfast at the Milchhäusle Bad Nauheim is highly recommended!
The brine springs belong to Bad Nauheim and made it what it is today, because the warm salty and carbonated water shapes the entire history of the city from its origins to the present day. The various salt production stations from the source to the salt factory line the route.
We made perfect use of our last day of vacation and went on the beautiful salt tour. Through Goldstein Park along the Wetter to the Schwalheim mill wheel. We enjoyed coffee and cake at Erdfreund, then we went back by train.
A nice hiking tour near Bad Nauheim. It started in beautiful sunshine and then it really started to rain. The tour is not for midsummer or when it rains. The dirt roads are very slippery when it rains! Bad Nauheim itself is of course very nice to look at with its many villas and the Sprudelhof as well as the spa gardens! Today I noticed the Elvis traffic lights for the first time! 😆
Nice tour is also fun in the fall.. different paths, including pavement and meadows. Many interesting corners to discover.
A lap to warm up for the planned afternoon hike with my youngest daughter in the Wetterau. 😍 The Runkelroiweropp machines are currently working at full speed here. 🚜🚜
