Trail Reviews

Charles Atan
August 11, 2023, Rundwanderweg von Montforte D’Alba

Beautiful round tour from the picturesque Montfort d'Alba. The route combines all aspects of the local landscape. It leads mostly on side roads and partly wild hiking trails through vineyards, hazelnut groves and wooded sections. You can also walk it in the opposite direction, which is recommended if you don't want to finish the steepest part at the end. On the way there are some farms with free-roaming dogs. They bark but don't bite. In summer you should start as early as possible so that you don't have to walk in the sun on the exposed passages.
