I had never been to Val Canobina and the CAI Pallanza 12cimein12mesi initiative gave me the opportunity to get to know this solitary valley nestled between Lake Maggiore and the much better known Val Vigezzo. The climb to the summit with Manuel and Graziano takes place mostly in enormous and always beautiful beech forests and then passes over a wide ridge that leads to the base of the last climb. Here the ridge becomes thinner and you need to pay a little more attention. The view from the summit is, as always, fantastic.
