This tour has very nice views, but the steep parts of the way are really not to be underestimated. These have extreme gradients and loose stones... I recommend climbing up on the Cannobio side, or just walking the lake side at the campsite for the way there and back, because the descent on the steep side is really daring... in Switzerland there would be signs stand this way... (caution, tie children to a leash). Unfortunately there is no warning sign here!
Yesterday we arrived at our next destination, in Cannobio on Lake Maggiore 🏖️🏞️. After a breather, we went up to Sant' Agata today... On an old mule track🫏... Sturdy shoes 🥾 and good fitness required. The 💦💧 was pouring with rain, but once we got to the top, all the effort and exertion 🤪 was worth it. The view over the lake 🏖️ with blue skies and sunshine ☀️ was priceless.
