Extraordinarily panoramic route: view of the sea on one side and the Alpine chain on the other. If you look up, birds of prey and deer. Better not to do it in the middle of summer (as we did 😰😰) because many stretches are exposed under the sun.
A splendid stage of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri that we have wanted to cover for a long time! Truly breathtaking views on this route that connects the Faiallo Pass to Prato Rotondo. You can do the single stage, if you intend to continue on the Alta Via, or a round trip, like us. For the return trip, the total length is ~ 19 Km, for a total height difference of ~ 650 m, considering the ups and downs. Unmissable!
Now I haven't figured out how to put it among my favorites, but this excursion deserves a nice 9. Here on the Apennine ridge, very close to the sea, there is a beautiful view of the entire gulf, the tour can be lengthened or even shortened, arriving only at Mount Argentera, a spur of rock that advances towards the sea (about 2 hours and a half) and other mountains which with a small detour like the previous one can be reached at the top: Reixa, Rama, Seiguelo and Beigua. Unmissable
Stunning tour. Long and easy with breathtaking views. It is worth extending it to Monte Rama, as it offers breathtaking views. A must-see stop at the Pratorotondo refuge for a break or even a little lunch!!!
