Crossing the Alps Bad Tölz-Vittorio Veneto https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/1939235442 Stage 21 Rifugio Passo Duran - Agordo Directions: Starting point: Passo Duran San Sebastian hut From the hut, the path goes up the slope across the meadow immediately behind it. In our case, the path was a bit muddy in places because of the rain the night before. Then it goes into the forest, still uphill, but with a flatter gradient. A scree slope is crossed. Still slightly uphill, you then come to the highest point of the day, the Bruto Carestino hut. From there, it goes steeply downhill through the forest. Later, you come to a wide road and go down a little more flatly, at the junction to the right, until a narrow path branches off to the left. Here it goes downhill more steeply again and you are back in a wooded area. You pass a few small farms. You come to a clearing and then you come to a road, here is a small settlement with houses scattered around. Then our path turns right onto a side road, which we leave after a short time on another path to the left. It is a kind of sunken road, but it is difficult to walk on. Lots of small and medium-sized stones next to each other, which are quite slippery. So you have to be careful to get down safely. Finally you come to the first farms of Agordo. You come to the main road via small streets and footpaths and turn right onto another main road. After a short time you see the bus station in front of you. In the supermarket behind it you can stock up if you need anything. You can pay the bus driver in cash for the trip to Belluno. It is cheaper, however, to buy tickets for the following days in Belluno in the small Dolomitibus office opposite the station building. Back: Take bus line 001 (Dolomitibus) to Belluno
