Hats off to Wilfried, what a tremendous achievement! Up to 2,000 meters of altitude! Notice the distance and the speed!
A really fabulous round, which is quite exhausting on the last ascent. If necessary, you could use the bus to get back to the Niger Pass from the lowest point. Although there are still a number of beautiful views to be enjoyed.
What a great round.🤩 Although it’s getting down to business right from the start 🥵↗️, the amazing view of the valley and the Rosengarten massif, the great paths 🏞 and the impressive mountain streams 💦 compensate for all the hardships. Simply mega beautiful
South Tyrol Hiking made a bigger tour
I recommend the tour in the direction shown and not in reverse. The ascent to the Hanicker Schwaige is very nice and has some nice impressions. It gets really great from the Hanicker Schwaige, from there you have an impressive view, so bring a little patience. :) Personally, I would extend the tour above if necessary and go a little further in the direction of the Kölner Hütte before descending, if you still have the time.
Worthwhile tour with a magnificent panorama. Can be shortened by bus.
Today you could choose between spikes or snowshoes. I think the spikes were the better choice because there were also completely snow-free sections in between.
