The weather is beautiful, albeit a bit cold. We climb the Poppekanzel, which has since thawed. A mountain guide advised us not to go up in the snow. The path is steep, but according to the hiking guide, you have magnificent views of the Marmolada, Sassolungo, Catinaccio, Ötzal Alps, and Ortler.
