After the morning rain we drove to Sand in Taufers. There was blue sky here and so we started an easy tour along the Ahr to Luttach. We were rewarded with great views of the snowy mountains. The weather changes quickly in the Alps and so we reached Luttach with a gray sky above us. After a small Strengthened we started the way back and a wonderful blue sky accompanied us. An ascent to Taufers Castle had to be made before the city tour.
Today we went for a nice leisurely hike 😊 Starting from our hotel in Luttach, we walked along the Ahr River, then took a short detour up to the Pojer Waterfall, and then continued to Taufers Castle. Then we relaxed back along the river... Again and again, we had fascinating views of the snow-capped mountains 🏔 A great leisurely hike 😊
Winter hike from Campo Tures to Luttach, with a detour to the Pojer waterfall... The hiking trail leads along the Ahr and is very often icy... Interesting highlights on this tour are the Campo Tures Castle, the Speikboden ski area (it's also worthwhile here take a cable car ride up to the Sonnenklarhütte and enjoy the overwhelming mountain landscape).
