This route was planned by komoot.
Beautiful, secluded and silent environments of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, which are timidly starting to stain with autumn. The climb to Monte Erio develops in the middle of a thick and immersive forest, embellished with moss and karst rocks, following a path often furrowed and widened by forestry work: the route is direct and the slope never lets up. The Stonhaus Voragine swallows up the forest without warning, and you would pass by a few meters away without even noticing it, if it were not for the sign! It is impressive and fascinating: the photos cannot convey its depth and majesty. Approaching the top of Monte Erio, the landscape opens up: although the hill is not very high, thanks to its central position it offers a remarkable view of the Altopiano: the Asiago basin with the shrine always visible; the northern mountains, with Verena and Portule in the foreground; the fields and the districts on the edge of the Val d'Assa, with a glimpse of the Val d'Astico and the Novegno. The very green mountain pastures are of an absurd peace and silence. Going down, you come across SelvArt, an easy art-nature ring route (I partly went back up to walk it all - see track): as on the way there, the forest is extremely immersive and evocative. Closure to the car with a path that for a stretch is quite steep and technical.
Following the entire CAI 803 path clockwise. A tour suitable for all seasons, in the initial part it overlaps for a stretch with the Selvart path
Pleasant circular itinerary starting from Contrada Parnoli di Roana. Along the way you can meet several installations created by various artists that integrate very well with nature. In this case, man's forays helped to make it more interesting. In the downhill stretch you will notice how nature has decided to change the landscape through the Vaia storm.
