Today we hiked from the mountain village of Hafling to the Wurzer Alm. It is 1707 m high on an alpine meadow and you have a fantastic view over the South Tyrolean mountains.

Today, for a change from the last few days, a rather shorter, but still nice tour. Great views, great Alm and beautiful hiking trail from Hafling started to Wurzner Alm and back

Hike with 5 year old children. Especially the footpaths are an experience for the children if you use the well-placed markings for a "scavenger hunt". Very varied due to the different route profiles. With a stroller you can easily reach the destination via the driveway.

The Wurzer Alm is nestled between meadows and forests above Hafling at an altitude of 1707 meters. We climbed continuously from the Hafling car park to the Wurzer Alm. There are then over 400 meters of altitude to climb - but it really wasn't difficult. We naturally took a short break at the idyllic Kamper pond. After about 1.5 hours we reached the Alm. As it started to rain we were able to extend our lunch break to over 2 hours. As we did the hike today with good friends we really had a good time in the cozy Alm. When the weather got better we headed back to Hafling. We got a little wet - but that didn't bother us. Today was simply a great day with good friends - even if the weather wasn't so great.

Play areas are available at both mountain huts. Prices are very reasonable.
