Casera del Medico (1,220 m above sea level) is located in Pradalto, a small open valley located between Colle delle Lastre and Monte Caseratte. This is a mountain hut complex which was recently renovated, following a three-year redevelopment project (2019-2021). It is owned by the UTI Livenza-Cansiglio-Cavallo, a public body made up of the municipalities of Aviano, Budoia and Caneva. The main building, for residential use, is flanked by 2 rural buildings used as stables. The structure cannot be used by the public and can only be used under concession for grazing.

It is one of the dairy farms touched by the Passeggiata delle Malghe di Piancavallo.

Casera Caseratte

Casera Caseratte (1,349 m a.s.l.) stands on an open slope on the southern slopes of Col Spizzat, in the grazing area east of Piancavallo, between Colle delle Lastre and Col Ceschet. Together with Casera Collalt and Casera Valfredda, it is part of the properties of the Municipality of Aviano. Currently used as a shelter, it has a square shape typical of the area and represents a good foothold for hikers. Inside it is equipped with a table, bench, stove and a raised shelf where you can sleep.

It is one of the houses reached by the Promenade of the Malghe di Piancavallo, as well as one of the busiest, considering its ease of access (20-30 min from Collalto).
