If you are looking for a very challenging circular route, with a challenging route and slopes, but in total safety and with a well-marked path, the climb to the Adamoli refuge, from the route that runs along the entire ridge, is ideal. At the refuge you can have lunch every day, except Wednesdays. The managers are very welcoming and prepared. A perfect combination of effort, views over the entire lake and satisfaction with the environment at the refuge.
A stop at the Rifugio De Grandi Adamoli is well worth it! Please note: check opening hours beforehand (especially during the off-season, only open on select days). Make sure to reserve a table—many people arrive by car.
With light snow forecast, a loop hike from Caldé, heading first to Monte Crocetta, then Rifugio Adamoli. A superb lunch next to the wood-fired stove and a descent through increasingly heavy snow. The atmosphere and feel of a true mountain, despite the modest altitude.
