The bivouac is the most well-stocked I have ever seen. The most important information:

October 1, 2024, Val Clavalitè e Lago Lavodilec..due gg

A5 Turin-Aosta motorway, Nus exit; continue towards Fenis and then follow the signs for Val Clavalitè, on the right in the upper part of the village along the central road. Continue along the very beautiful asphalt road past Lovignana, and reach the square just before the Pian Clavalitè basin at 1525 m, where you need to leave your car (beyond the dirt road, only those entitled to leave are allowed) Bivacco Borroz with an IBAN donation inside the Bivouac. Equipment: blankets, stove, heater and firewood, water and toilet. The latter are not available in the winter due to the risk of frost. There is also a photovoltaic panel for electricity, which however does not operate at full capacity in the winter, so bring a flashlight. 1st day...From the car park, go down briefly along the dirt road to Maisonasse, at the start of Pian Clavalitè. From Clavalitè always keep to the left orographic side of the stream and continue until the last houses. The road starts to climb again until a fork in the road. Take the road for grand alpe (yellow signpost). After the Celey mountain pastures, follow a mule track that runs alongside the beautiful waterfalls of the Clavalitè stream. The mule track then reconnects to the road. The stretch becomes flatter. Cross a bridge and go to the right of the stream. Follow the road until a fork at an altitude of 2043. Take a left for the Etsely pass. The bivouac is clearly visible 2nd day we descend with a traverse (signpost 102) towards the Grand 'Alpe mountain pasture..after a traverse we begin to climb (tiring) towards the lake..from the same we follow the balcony path (equipped sections) that once we reach a crossroads (turn right) will take us back to the dirt road of the outward journey and then arrive at the car..n.b. the balcony path is quite exposed to be avoided with snow and rain (personal opinion) on the first day we also climbed (see track--optional) to the l'Echellier mountain pasture where there is a small reservoir..the total difference in altitude of the excursion also includes this part
