This route is advertised on the website www.naturpark-moor.de. To be honest, we were very disappointed by how anyone could describe it as a beautiful tour. Most of the time, we cycled along busy roads on the parallel cycle path. There was only one spot where the moor was visible. Furthermore, we cycled straight ahead the whole time. It's unfortunately very boring, even if it's part of the history. At the Moor Museum, we could have learned about the long-distance reclamation of the moorland. Back then, straight roads were built to transport the peat and get machinery into the moor. This is why there are so many straight roads in this region.
