The Les Arcs region has a lot to offer mountain bikers. Whether in Arc 1600, 1800, 1950, or 2000, the trails are endless. Rather than choose, this loop tours the sites to discover their full extent and explore their most beautiful spots.
The route begins gently with a slight climb connecting Arc 1600 and 1800. You then dive into the Ponturin Valley before getting down to business with a steep climb to the Col de la Chal. From there, the second part of the route begins, a descent.
After a short steep section, you can relax and leisurely reach Arc 2000 and 1950, and finally, Arc 1600. Along the way, the panoramic views of the Arc Valley enhance your route with beautiful landscapes that invite you to stop and rest.
The loop, which begins at the Arc 1600 funicular station, passes through all the village resorts. You can therefore complete it no matter where you're staying, even if it's Bourg Saint Maurice. You just need to adapt your starting point. And if you want to shorten the route, you can take the ski lifts to travel from one part of the resort to another.
