Dachsberg's Steil-Strampler – Die Fordernde (The Challenging One)

The tour starts at the parking lot at the Dachsberghalle. You briefly follow the Albsteig trail before a gravel path leads you to Oberbildstein. There, a steep climb through the "Höll" valley awaits. After a rapid descent, the route continues along the scenic Kreuzackerweg trail with short ascents and descents towards Lehenkopf. The historic Spielbergwerk mine is worth a stop or detour.

The tour continues across fields and through forests to Hierholz. The Fröhnderfeldweg trail then takes you through wooded slopes and the Sägebach cutting to the Lochmühle mill. The Alter Sägeweg trail leads to Wilfingen and then on quiet side roads to Happenmoos. After a final loop and a steep climb through the Stampfbächletal valley, you return to the starting point at the Dachsberghalle.
