Okay. Officially, the trail no longer exists. But we retraced it today.

Our highlight today was definitely two hoopoes sunbathing on a sandy path. Unfortunately, we didn't take a photo. We didn't want to scare these two rare birds away.

The highway noise is a negative, but only on a small part of the route: at the so-called Rheingoldruhe.
