..... and the Danube was also moving strongly with strong waves 🌊 Over the bridge at Persenbeug, which also has a hydroelectric power station and lock, today to Ybbs, which was a huge disappointment for us. You are guided by bike to the old town, although it has almost only empty houses and is unkempt! It's been years since I was here, but my memories of it are different. We had to lift our bikes over the flood barriers 3 times! But this time we didn't ignore any barriers or driving bans! 🤔 On the way back from Pöchlarn to Ybbs we had some nasty headwinds. But that's just the life of a cyclist 😉🤣
Today I jump on my bike so I don't forget how to ride a bike. We take an afternoon tour along the Danube. There were a lot of cyclists on the road. After a hearty meal we cycled back to the starting point in Ybbs.
