Road cycling loop between culture & the Enzschleife

Right after the start, the first climb up to Maulbronn awaits you. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Maulbronn Monastery is almost incidentally located along the way and provides a brief cultural introduction before the route branches off south towards Roßwag. There, you can look forward to a fast, clean descent that leads you directly into the Enz Valley – and, depending on your mood, either to a cup of coffee in a charming café or a refreshing spritzer at the Lembergerland Winery.

The subsequent section along the Enz River loop is one of the highlights of the tour: flat, quiet, and particularly scenic. On the well-maintained cycle path right by the water, you can maintain a steady pace and simply let yourself roll along.

After the Enz Valley, the gradient increases slightly again. A final climb near Dürrn adds another athletic challenge before a long descent invites you to pick up the pace again. The last few kilometers back to Bretten are a leisurely ride – the perfect moment to enjoy the breeze and let your heart rate return to normal.
