Here! This is a nice (and sensible) route to visit all the caves in the area!

Trail Reviews

Roberto El Flaco
August 14, 2024, Piano provenzana a grotta del gelo anello

First stretch up to 2450 m on beaten road and visible path, total absence of shade until the Grotta del Gelo. Temperature inside the cave close to zero, entrance only with adequate equipment. Return quite simple, marked path but not visible in some points, if not accompanied necessary navigator, not cell phone. At Piano Provenzana there is a parking lot and several refreshment facilities. No water source on the route, at least 2 liters of water, in summer to be done early in the morning.
