Well-signposted, easy-to-walk trail. Very busy on a Saturday in July. The suspension bridge on the way back was a nice addition.
The Brunnsteinsteig is a very beautiful hiking trail that is quite demanding in parts, especially if you are traveling with dogs 🐕. At the top of the hut we are greeted by donkeys and sheep lying on the narrow path. The view is awesome.
The tour was beautiful, the ascent moderately difficult. Very nice Brunnstein hut with very nice hospitality. Started at the parking lot on the B2. However, there are not too many parking spaces here. The suspension bridge after about 1/3 of the route is a highlight. At the top of the mountain hut, a stubborn donkey is running around freely, and you may come across it with two ibexes in tow. There were four of us, from 26 to 63 years old. A nice day tour. If you want to go further up or head for another destination, you can probably spend the night at the Brunnstein hut.
Today we did the tour to the Brunnsteinhütte - difficult according to Komoot, but a piece of cake after yesterday's! 😉 Very nice paths and a suspension bridge! At the hut we had something delicious to drink and eat!😋 We were able to wait out the rain there and then we headed back! A small but nice tour!👍
Finally today we went up to the Brunnsteinhütte. It was wonderful up there and we had a nice conversation with a 79 year old lady who still runs up there whenever she can. I have to say, she was up there just as quickly as we were 🥵
From Mittenwald over 285 on ladder path. Then over the suspension bridge and up. Way back behind suspension bridge over 292. Unfortunately there is a gap in the recording. Total time 3.5 hours and 10.55 km. Very nice tour mostly through forest. Walked in the wet, sticks help.

that was a great hike ... was a lot of fun and can be done by everyone ... but would never do it on Sat. or Sun. could be very well attended ...
