Frenchtown Conservation area is a smallish park near Baton Rouge. Well maintained trails, mostly dry and few bugs today. Saw one juvenile Copperhead relaxing on a side trail. There is a swimmable river nearby, but too murky and probably alligator filled to swim today. :)
