Hiking
A beautiful circular hike located in the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park, which concludes with a swim in the Horrheim Seewald Lakes. The trail then leads through the Fleckenwald forest, up to the Wachtkopf, along Lake Hamberger, and finally through the Gündelbach vineyards.
This circular hike combines nature experiences and relaxation: The idyllically situated Horrheim Seewald Lakes, with their excellent water quality, are ideal for swimming, especially in the Lower Lake. Other highlights include the Lauerbrunnen fountain, the Stromberghütte with its barbecue area and playground, the Rennweg trail with rest areas, and Lake Hamberger. From the Wachtkopf, there are sweeping views over the Mettertal valley and the picturesque Gündelbach stream, before the trail returns to the starting point through varied forest and meadow landscapes.
