With spring-like 15 degrees and sunshine ☀️, we started today at the Seewaldsee hiking car park near Horrheim 🥾🤗. We started across the fields on the Wachtkopfsteige into the vineyards with a great view 👀 of Gündelbach👍🏼. From there into the forest on the Hambergerseeweg to the Hamberger See. We circled around this once and continued on the Rennweg through a varied forest. At the shelter we turned onto the Laubsteigle and from there to the upper and lower Seewaldsee. Then it wasn't far to the car park. A nice round - recommended 😀
🌞Beautiful round tour in the Stromberg-Heuchelberg nature park, which invites you to 🦆bath in the Horrheimer Seewaldseen🦆 at the end. Before that, it goes through the 🌳🌲Fleckenwald, up the 🌄Wachtkopf, along the 💧Hamberger See and finally through the Gündelbacher 🍇vineyards. Since my wife @🌼 verdreht 🌼 was looking after the nieces today, I set out alone. The plan was to do a walk nearby with free parking. The destination was the free parking lot at the Seewald lakes between Horrheim and Gündelbach. From there, we set off through meadows and fields, past the Steinbachhof farm to the Wachtkopf. Once at the top, the sunny weather compensated for this with a beautiful panoramic view of Gündelbach and the surrounding communities. The route continued past the Hamberger See, the Gündelbacher Salzeiche, along the Grenzsteinpfad (border stone path) to the Rennweg, and on toward Baiselsberg. We descended past the Laubsteigle mountain hut, past the Stromberghütte and the Lauerbrunnen (fountain) to the Seewald lakes. The upper Seewald lake is currently still drained, but the lower one is full. From there, we returned to the parking lot. Overall, a beautiful walk with expansive views in good weather.
