Running
This varied loop combines tough climbs and scenic sections. The starting point is the parking lot at Derdinger Horn. At the beginning, you run along the edge of the forest and above the vineyards – with stunning panoramic views. The first climb quickly gets you up to speed and gives you a feel for the terrain.
In the middle section of the tour, you enter a quiet forest section – with narrow paths and moss-covered stones. You pass the forest pond with its bridge and bench, as well as the Trinkwaldsee lake. You run just past Sternenfels. If you haven't had enough, you can extend the loop here and make a detour to the Schlossberg tower.
The final few meters lead you back to Derdinger Horn, where another short climb awaits you – you'll be rewarded with arguably the most beautiful view of the tour. Perfect for a finisher photo or a drink break with a panoramic view. Tip: This loop is also perfect for a sunrise or after-work run.
