Alpine dwarf Berni Steiner provides puzzles and fun on this short adventure tour in the magnificent Koralpe. Even the little ones can join in on this easy hike, as it's stroller-friendly. At the end of the hike, you'll stop for a bite to eat at the Stiftshütte on the Brandl, which almost looks like the Alpine dwarf's home.

The start of Berni's Ofenerlebnisweg is just a few hundred meters west of the Stiftshütte. You can drive there – it's about a 20-minute drive from the nearest larger village, Sankt Georgen im Lavanttal. Once you've started, dwarf Berni Steiner will test you with puzzles at various stations. One of the absolute highlights is the viewing platform on the 1,447-meter-high Bernsteiner Ofen, where Berni's home is also located.
