This route was planned by komoot.
There's a capercaillie sitting in the forest, giving me a rather sour look. That doesn't bother me, because I'm sleeping here, on his capercaillie! (Otto) Unfortunately, we didn't see any capercaillie, because they do exist here. There was plenty of other things to see. Stupid Mosse, the name isn't ours, but the translation is what you'd expect. We walk the southern and northern loops. The southern section is wheelchair accessible. Forest paths, but mostly wide boardwalks, lead through this large raised moor. The northern section is accessed via a narrow boardwalk. It looks as if the trail has been freshly groomed here. The landscape is fantastic, it's lonely and quiet. We only meet other hikers towards the end. Nice loop, perhaps a bit long.
