It would be nicer to take the chairlift back and continue walking at the top. Great area for good bikers with protective gear! If you like root paths.🚲
Very nice hike on the Mutzkopf. We went up with the chairlift, a little slower than usual due to technical problems. Once at the top, well signposted paths led to the black and green lakes. From there only downhill towards Nauders with a nice stop at the Riatschalm
The chairlift (15€ per person) took us from Nauders up to the Mutzkopf. If you want to walk, you need 1½ according to the signs Hours. From the lift station towards the Black Lake you later walk over footbridges through a wonderful raised moor. We continue through the forest high over hill and dale to the lake. The path now continues to the Green Lake where you can also take a break. Here you occasionally meet some bikers. Now we go along a forest path or the old hiking trail to Nauders. Don't forget to take a break at the Riatschhof. From here it's a 30-minute walk to Nauders lift station
🥾 Today we took the chairlift from Nauders up to the Kleinmutzkopf at 1,812 m and from there along beautiful hiking trails past the idyllic Schwarzen See and Grünsee and the 3-country trail. The chairlift took us back down to the valley.
After breakfast, we set off on today's hike, feeling refreshed. We had the first 300 meters of ascent right at the start of the hike, climbing steeply up the mountain meadow from the valley station 😅. Our first destination was the Black Lake. What an incredible panorama on this incredibly beautiful late summer day. The lake has many water lilies, but unfortunately, it's not water lily season now, because that's what it should look like in summer. Even at around 1900 meters above sea level, it was still 20 degrees, and we had to swap our long pants for shorts on the bench 😂. Anything long-sleeved was completely overrated today 😃. After the Black Lake, the Green Lake was next on the agenda. The mountain lake is so incredibly clear 🤩🤗. We took a break there before heading back. We rounded off the hike with Kaiserschmarren in a mountain inn and an Aperol in the valley 🤗🤩.
