Because we enjoyed the Mittlandsleden so much yesterday, we're going to visit it again 😉 Today's Iron Age monument is the Gråborg, one of the largest structures of its kind in Sweden. The castle wall covers an area of 210 x 160 meters, and the height of the curtain wall varies between 4 and 7 meters. There's not much more to see here than this curtain wall and an entrance gate 😉 Next door, we took a look at the pretty medieval ruins of St. Knut's Chapel, and then we headed out into nature! Around the corner today, there's a clear warning about bulls 🐂 and when one actually stands in the distance right in the middle of the path, we turn back in view of our experience from yesterday 😬 We can safely reach the hiking trail today without any bulls 🤭 The Mittlandsleden is beautiful again today, and somehow different from yesterday. Today, there are entire groves of giant hazelnut bushes and partially open landscapes with pretty little flowers on the ground, especially in the nature reserve. It's easy to imagine that it's supposed to be blooming 🌼 and chirping 🐦 here in spring. On the way back, we stop at the Grainheaven Hantverksbageri and buy sourdough bread from the sales shed and, of course, and not surprisingly, kanelbullar for fika ☕️ Then we meet up with our friends on the beach 🏖️ for a chat, and Jürgen even lets himself be persuaded to do a stand-up 🏄♂, although the Baltic Sea isn't exactly inviting today 🥶 I'll pass today 🙅🏻♀️ and instead let Anne's dad 👨, who's also visiting, inspire me to new travel destinations in the warm sand 😉🇩🇰
