Instead of using 2 wheels, I moved with 2 legs today 😉 and ran a nice lap around the Herrenbach reservoir
On the road today in 4+4..🐾🐾🐾🐾🥾🥾🥾🥾...😄. From P in front of the monastery courtyard in Adelberg there was a nice dog walk around the reservoir with paddling for the fur noses. Great for kids too... There are many new benches and adventure stations in the forest and lots of marble runs 🌞. For a delicious reward we went to the great beer garden of the Pizzeria Klosterhof 😋
Wonderful winter weather and sun literally invited us to go hiking in the wonderful landscape in the eastern Schurwald, near Adelberg. With the Herrenbach reservoir and the monastery, Adelberg offers a popular excursion destination. The circular hike around the lake, which is around 1.2 kilometers long and up to 350 meters wide, and a short climb to Adelberg Monastery are included in the circular hike, which mainly leads through sparse forest.
The last time we went hiking was before Corona, in the meantime some new benches and rest areas have been set up there... always interesting for children, grandchildren and of course adults 🪵🌲

Circular trail around the lake particularly eventful for families with children: marble run (bring a wooden ball with you), goblin gorge, learning and information points, wild animal puzzle trail, etc. Recommended with children: park at the Herrenbach mill and start from there on the left bank of the lake
After the landlord of the Herrenmühle has closed his parking lot and has tickets distributed, we avoid the inhospitable place and make the beautiful circuit around the lake from Unterberken.
