From Kongsvoll (on the way to Trondheim) it went steeply up into the Dovrefjell National Park. Musk cattle were successfully resettled there about 80 years ago. Didn't see any despite the telescope. We were rewarded with a wonderful landscape experience.
On this hike you have the real chance to see musk oxes!
Today we went hiking a bit in the high altitudes at only 13 degrees. Unfortunately we didn't see any musk oxen. According to the locals, they had gathered for another 6 km of steep uphill walking and that would have been too much for my companion 😂
