This short but complete tour is ideal for getting familiar with the MTB on quiet roads and ever-changing landscapes. From the center of Drena, you climb gently towards the San Udalrico Pass, crossing woods, cultivated fields and small inhabited centers, on well-marked secondary and forest roads. At the pass there is a small church with a rest area and a fountain to refill your water bottles.
After crossing the pass, continue slightly downhill along a forest track surrounded by greenery. The surface is smooth and flowing, perfect for letting the bike run and enjoying the silence of the forest. Further ahead, the view opens up onto Lake Cavedine and the lunar landscape of the Marocche: a panoramic stretch that deserves a break.
The return takes place between ups and downs and more technical sections, always on varied but accessible terrain, until you return under the walls of the Drena Castle, which dominates the valley from above.
The starting point is located in Drena, near the castle, with the possibility of parking also in the Marocche area. The area can also be reached by public transport thanks to the extra-urban bus line 204 (Riva – Cavedine – Trento), active all year round. The Tour is recommended from March to October.
