This fantastic circular tour takes you to the spectacular Creux du Van rock arena. 160-meter-high cliffs rise up in the largest nature reserve in the canton of Neuchâtel. Here, you can enjoy sweeping views across the valley.
You start at the train station in Noiraigue and initially cycle along wonderfully flat paths along the banks of the Aureuse River toward this unique natural wonder. Then, you'll tackle the first major climb and can take a well-deserved break at the Creux du Van. Enjoy the view or treat yourself to a refreshment at the Le Soliat restaurant before continuing on.
In the Val de Travers, you'll then cycle through fir forests and past steep limestone formations until you reach the banks of the Aureuse River again. You can then relax and cycle for the last few kilometers before returning to the train station in Noiraigue.
