when we get to the port of Rotterdam there should still be time for a bike ride and we happened to find another route. This is almost next to our ship that takes us to North England. OP VOORNE PUTTING Voorne-Putten is an island in the Rhine-Maas delta, in the west of the Dutch province of South Holland, southwest of Rotterdam. It consists of the former islands of Voorne and Putten.
52 km, cycled, forgot to turn on komoot🙈 ted and I were pleasantly surprised how nice hellevoetssluis is. We were able to enjoy a clear blue sky, with lots of sun, and a lovely temperature with a bit of a chilly wind here and there, but we were eventually able to cycle without a coat. We had beautiful views with nice resting places. We enjoyed lunch at the Meidoorn. It is nice to say that this place is special to us. Ted took me here for one of our first outings. You understand, we cherish this memory. Another very nice day, with healthy relaxation and exertion.
If you suddenly have three days of time off in lieu of overtime, you absolutely shouldn't let them go to waste. Blue skies, sea view, a pleasant 10 degrees Celsius, hardly any wind – perfect!
