February 29, 2024, Kurtatsch - Kalterer See Runde

Nice round from Kurtatsch and almost car-free :-) and thanks to the truck slipstream at 70 - 80 km/h from Kaltern to the lake... and then back through the vineyards via Tramin and Rungg.

Easy tour via Neumarkt, the SALEWA-Cube and SPORTLER-Bike back via Eppan and Kaltern

Finally, a ride out again with our friend and host Toni. It was about time. From Frangart, we set off on the loop. The cycle path led us to Lake Kaltern and we enjoyed the view. After Tramin, we were challenged with some altitude meters, but in return, we rode high above the valley along the slope. In Magreid, the scent of fresh Pasta al Olio was in the air, wonderful. We saw the restaurant a little later. In Salurn, at the border with Trentino, we had Gelati, cake, and the best Cappuccino. Afterwards, we rode along the rock face until we reached the cycle path. The Garmin showed 27°. With the sun and the wind at our backs, we sped through the rest of the route. Perfetto 👈 Cappuchino.
