This route was planned by komoot.
Today was an 'intermediate day', partly a little away from the Vennbahn. The round trip from Roetgen to Raeren Castle with the pottery museum, which is well worth seeing, a short stroll through the pretty town of Eupen, further to the Wesertalaperre and then back to Roetgen, mostly along the Weser, was really beautiful and varied. And the weather was good too - I was back just before the rain started, and in the evening I treated myself to an absolutely delicious meal in the excellent restaurant at Landgut Marienbildchen :-))
In any case, the temperatures were more pleasant than last Sunday! I almost forgot, the beer was better today too! 👍😉
