Hiking
At 2,997 meters high, Piz Beverin is one of the nearly three-thousand-meter peaks. There is plenty of adventure on your circular hike from Mathon over the Beverin Lücke to the summit and back to Mathon. Parts of the trail lead through exposed terrain and the eight-meter-high vertical ladder that you have to climb down during the descent provides a special adrenaline rush. Surefootedness and mountain experience are essential.
You can reach the starting point in the picturesque mountain village of Mathon by car or by post bus, which runs here instead of a bus. Information about the timetable and ticket prices can be found here: https://www.postauto.ch/de/fahrplan-und-netz/fahrplan-und-ticketkauf.
