This route was planned by komoot.
We have wanted to visit the Wurzacher Ried for a long time. Today it finally worked and we took a tour through and around the reed.🤗
Hiking the Ried was a tip from Roland and Herman. I found this hike on this portal and followed it. The high moor has its special charm, especially in the snow. The boardwalks were very easy to walk on. It was very windy at the top, but the beautiful sunshine offered a great view. It's a pity that the last 2 km run next to the main road (don't know if this can be improved). I couldn't see much of the peat extraction because of the snow. All in all a worthwhile hike.
so wanted to celebrate this today on fathers day and make a nice hike. Despite the bad weather forecast, we were able to get started start in the wurzacher ried with the most beautiful rays of sunshine. starting through the spa park, we were just amazed by the landscape. unfortunately it started to rain after the first 3 km. nonetheless, we continued on the flat path. wonderful circular route. therefore the mood was also quite good, although soaking wet. only disturbing the last 2 km back towards Wurzach which unfortunately lead along the road. Still to be recommended in any case.
Very nice round. At -4 degrees and snowfall, the Ried has its very special charm. Then another detour to the WURZELSEPP 👍 for delicious coffee and cake.
On today's tour we started from parking lot 1 on the B465 in the Wurzacher Ried. First we crossed the busy road, took a short detour along the trilogy circuit to the small lake, where we discovered a few resting ducks and butterflies. We then followed a wooden footbridge through the middle of the autumnal Wurzacher Ried. If a tree falls here, it is left to nature. Due to the season, countless plants were covered in drops of water. The watercourses under the brightly colored trees offered us a fascinating, almost mystical picture. Birches, conifers, oaks, cannon cleaners, horsetails... a hodgepodge of trees and plants grow over the dark colored waters of the moor. The path took us out of the moor again, along meadows, past Albers and Dietmanns, to Oberluizen and Unterluizen and back over the Sonnenberg. From time to time you also have to walk along the road. Still, it was a fascinating hike. Life is Beautiful...
