This route was planned by komoot.
The first tour in the Thiersteinberg area. A great area for biking. The next tour is already planned (thanks @Alex Hasler )!
Golden October! Today we rode the Tiersteinberg Bike Tour (Switzerland Mobil Route 955) in the Aargau Jura Park in perfect weather. The tour is very well signposted, but only in one direction. Except for the long and tough ascent on the Tiersteinberg and a short stretch on the descent from the viewpoint down towards Frick (very steep hiking trail with steps and roots - very slippery when wet and with a dense carpet of leaves like today!), the tour does not make any great demands on driving skills. Apparently there are very nice trails on the Tiersteinberg - we saved them for a visit in dry conditions. The tour is definitely worth it due to the great view of the Black Forest and the colorful Jura hills. You can either park in Frick at the train station or (free of charge) at the depot a little outside of Frick.
Unfortunately I had to break off, it was getting too dark for me in the forest.
After I was not happy with the Brose motor and the new toothed belt, I have now installed a new, reinforced toothed belt myself. After this work, the freewheel functioned again and the "night trapping" was eliminated. Unfortunately, the first test drive was then very short. Although I had no error message and everything looked fine, I had no motor assistance. So everything expanded and looked at again. But everything looked good. So first of all into the ski vacation. Googled a bit there again and found a hint. Tried it straight away at home, and lo and behold, the engine shows another sign of life. So everything put back together again. Then the next shock. The system can no longer be switched on. When I insert the battery, the system starts up and I was able to do a lap today. Almost everything works. The pushing aid no longer works. The engine is running, unfortunately it still "growls", but the support is top-notch. So after a flat start, I am right up the serpentine path up to the Schupfarter Flue. Turbo pure and high. It was great. Now I will check the connectors again and try to fit the cables, which are much too long, nicely into the motor housing. Just take a look.
