Trail Reviews

Hans Peter
May 15, 2022, Bike and Hike Fronalpstock

Wonderful bike and hike tour to the Fronalpstock. Start at Näfels/Mollis train station up to the Naturdreundehaus Fronalpstock. Everything following bike route 302. From there continue with the bike bus to the Mittler Stafel. Sometimes really crisp, up to 24% incline 🥵 From now on on Schuhsters Rappenn over the Fronalppass to the Fronalpstock. Approx. 500hm in a good 1 1/2 hours Magnificent panoramic view at the summit. Back at the Naturfreundehaus, follow route 302 to Glarus and back to the car. Wonderful early summer tour. When climbing to the summit, you should be sure-footed and not afraid of heights.

Nice round feasible even in hot weather because a lot is driven in the forest. Beautiful. View of Glarnerland. 👍🏻😎
