This route was planned by komoot.
Sometimes beauty is so close. Today I finally made it around Lake Wurlsee near Lychen. It was beautiful, the weather was great—what more could you want?
Today we're driven to our starting point in Lychen. With a delicious breakfast in our stomachs—a carrot, orange, and fennel juice—we're perfectly prepared for day two of the fast. We quickly reach Wurlsee, the lake we're circling today. The weather is icy, but so sunny that it's hardly noticeable. The path runs almost the entire way along the shore, wonderful. We take a break to practice mindfulness. An interesting method; I'll remember it for future hikes. The next break is for lunch; variety is in order. Yesterday it was grapefruit, today half a slice of orange fills our stomachs. And then five brave souls jump into the ice-cold lake. I would have loved to be there, but because of a minor surgical wound, I'm not allowed to. So I just repeat my Kneipp walk. Afterwards, we walk in single file or chatting in groups of two or three in glorious weather and glorious nature. The tour ends again in Lychen, right in the center of town. The bus is waiting...
A little further from the starting point is Café GaTho! Right on the water, with relaxed seating areas, hot and cold dishes, paddle boat rental. Delicious, lovingly prepared and fair prices! Will come again
The Wurlsee is very deep, therefore very clear, swimming there is a dream. Gorgeous hike!
There are other environmentally friendly ways of getting around besides cycling. You can try it out again. It's even fun when the route is as beautiful as this one.
The route seems to have been created some time ago, before the official hiking trail was created. But it is a very nice, relaxed route. Lots of opportunities to take a break and swim. https://lychen.info/wurlsee-wanderung/
The waiting time until the reception of the campsite opens is bridged with a short hike,
A hike around the Wurlsee in Lychen with my granddaughter. A refreshing dip in the water every now and then was lovely.
